I'm Michelle, your hairstyling hype girl, Lead Stylist,
& Owner of Modest Medusa!

I am a licensed Hair Stylist, based in a Snohomish salon, where four days a week I specialize in blonding, vivids, & bridal hair. I have nearly a decade of experience in the wedding industry and will travel to all corners of the PNW. One of the things I like the most about being a solo stylist, is the personally customized experience. When a client has a consultation with me, they get me. The last thing I want is for my client to feel like a transaction, so I pride myself on being someone who truly wants to get to know my client, that sense of relationship has turned nearly a ¼ of my brides into my regular salon clients!
As we all know, hair changes with every trend, so I do my best to continually challenge and educate myself with at least 3 classes a year.
I have an eye for symmetry and balance, and I’m determined to meet each client’s hair dreams. My favorite styles are soft and romantic, but I never hesitate to do something edgy. When I’m not behind the salon chair, I enjoy painting, baking, hiking, and spending time with my husband & our three dogs.
